Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival - Chandigarh to Shimla
Upon arrival at Chandigarh Airport or railway station, our tour begins with an assisted transfer to Shimla by road. Upon reaching Shimla, check in at the hotel and spend the evening at your leisure. Stay overnight in Shimla.
DAY 2: Shimla - Kufri - Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Kufri, famous for its Himalayan National Park. Kufri derives its name from 'Kufr,' meaning lake. Later, enjoy local sightseeing in Shimla, covering Tara Devi Temple, Rashtrapati Niwas, Himachal State Museum, Indian Institute of Advanced Study, The Mall Road, Ridge, Lakkar Bazaar, and Rani Jhansi Park. Visit Christ Church before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 3: Shimla - Kullu - Manali
After a hearty breakfast, drive towards Manali. En route, visit Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Beas River, Hanogi Mata Temple, Satluj River, and Vaishno Devi Temple. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight in Manali.
DAY 4: Manali Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Manali's famous attractions, including Gayatri Mandir, Hadimba Devi Temple, Ghatotkacha Temple, Club House, and Vashisht Kund. The temples are dedicated to Mata Hadimba, one of the most revered deities in Himachal Pradesh, and her son Ghatotkacha. Visit the Club House to enjoy activities like skating, disco, and zip-lining. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 5: Manali - Solang Valley Tour (Atal Tunnel & Rohtang Pass - Optional)
After breakfast, head to Solang Valley, famous for adventure activities like paragliding, zorbing, and skiing (seasonal). Visit the Atal Tunnel, one of the longest tunnels above 10,000 feet, reducing travel time between Manali and Leh by 3-4 hours. Optionally, you can visit Rohtang Pass (subject to permit and availability). Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 6: Manali to Dalhousie
After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Dalhousie. Upon arrival, explore local attractions like Panjpulla, Subhash Baoli, Satdhara Falls, and the Dalhousie local market. Check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight in Dalhousie.
DAY 7: Dalhousie - Khajjiar Excursion
After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Khajjiar, also known as the 'Mini Switzerland of India'. Nestled in the Dhauladhar mountain ranges, Khajjiar offers a mesmerizing combination of forests, lakes, and pastures. Adventure enthusiasts can enjoy paragliding, horse riding, zorbing, and trekking. Return to Dalhousie for an overnight stay.
DAY 8: Dalhousie to Chandigarh - Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Chandigarh. Upon arrival, transfer to Chandigarh Airport or railway station for your onward journey. Tour ends, but the wonderful memories will remain forever!
